about me

“The wound is the place where the light enters you.” – Rumi

My role as a clinician is to safe-guard and facilitate the deeply personal and profound process of breaking through long-standing traumas, addictions, anxiety and mood issues and relational challenges.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Atlanta, GA with a focus in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Details of my education and experience can be found below. More importantly, I have had the great privilege to work with some of the most loving and effective clinicians that have forever impacted my well-being personally, and capacities professionally.

“Imagine if you could live your life in your whole body!” – Dr. Michael Berger

I am currently most interested in how more traditional talk therapy intersects with
psychedelics, mindfulness practices, somatic movement, and breath-work in order to bypass the thinking brain so that we may live an embodied life of meaning and connection. Presently, I am enjoying perspectives in counseling that relate to Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal and Gestalt theories, as well as Internal Family Systems interventions.

“If the track is tough and the hill is rough, THINKING you can just ain’t enough!”

– Shel Silverstein, Where the Sidewalk Ends

Their residential and day treatment programs serve a great need in the field of mental health.
